A smile makeover restores and rejuvenates the smile through cosmetic procedures that lets patients feel proud of their teeth and overall appearance, as results help them appear younger and healthier. Many patients are unhappy with the appearance of their smile, and are often embarrassed to show their teeth, or even to speak or eat in front of others. These worries can be eliminated through a smile makeover.
There may be several treatments involved in a smile makeover, depending on each patient’s individual goals, dental history and the current condition of their smile. Smile makeovers often address tooth color, alignment and spacing, missing teeth and overall harmony and balance of the smile. Some patients may also seek corrections to the tooth length, proportion, texture and the overall smile line.
These corrections can be made through a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including:
- Tooth whitening
- Dental implants
- Composite bonding
Each patient’s treatment plan will be completely customized to ensure that the patient receive results that suit their needs and overall appearance. In as little as one visit, patients can stop being self-conscious and enjoy the freedom and confidence of an attractive and natural smile.

Invisalign can eliminate the crowding or large spaces between your teeth. Even complex cases such as overbites, underbites and crossbites can be treated.
A typical Invisalign case takes about a year from start to finish. You will see your dentist every 6-8 weeks to review your progress. You will receive additional aligners every few visits. Treatment time and the number of aligners you receive will vary case by case.
The Invisalign Process
To begin the Invisalign process, make an appointment with your dentist. During your visit you can decide on your course of treatment. Impressions of your bite will be made using advanced 3-D computer imaging to construct a custom made series of clear and removable aligners by Invisalign. Once you receive your aligners you will wear them according to instructions provided. They will only be removed to eat, drink, brush and floss.
The filling of dental cavities with unsightly metal alloys has been used throughout the history of dentistry. Contemporary fillings, however, are usually “tooth” colored and practically invisible to the untrained eye. These tooth-colored fillings can be used to replace old and worn silver amalgam, gold or other metal fillings for aesthetic purposes.
These new substances have a white hue and can be made from several different origins such as composite resin, glass ionomer cement (GIC), and porcelain ceramics. These materials are very resilient and long lasting in addition to their visual advantages, but can become discolored over time. Just like metal fillings, these can be set and cured within one visit to the dentist, although they may take a little bit longer.
Tooth-colored fillings are priced similar to metallic alloys; they tend to be cheaper than precious metals but more expensive than common metals.
